Mute and Solo
Using the two buttons below pan, you can mute the instrument and all related clips (Mute)
or solo the instrument and all related clips (Solo).
Tip: You can also mute individual clips by using the clip mute button (see Clip Controls).
An instrument's Mute and Solo state can be adjusted using the following Akai Professional
and M-Audio keyboards.
• Akai Professional MAX 49: Fader Buttons [1-8]-Mute, [17-24]-Solo.
• Akai Professional MAX 25: Fader Buttons [1-4]-Mute, [5-8]-Solo.
• Akai Professional MPK 49, MPK 61, or MPK 88: Fader Buttons Bank B [S1-S8]-
Mute, Bank C [S1-S8]-Solo.
• M-Audio Axiom AIR 49 or Axiom AIR 61: Fader Buttons [1-8 Red]-Mute, [1-8
Yellow]-Solo. Press [SELECT TRACK] to switch the Fader Buttons between
Show/Hide (Green), Mute (Red) and Solo (Yellow).
• M-Audio Axiom AIR 25: Fader Button [Red]-Mute, [Yellow]-Solo. Press
[MUTE/SOLO/RECORD] to switch the Fader Button between Show/Hide (Green),
Mute (Red) and Solo (Yellow).
• M-Audio Axiom Pro 49 or Axiom Pro 61: Fader Buttons [S1-S8]. Press S9/S18 to
switch the Fader Buttons between Show/Hide, Mute and Solo.
• M-Audio Axiom Pro 25: [F4]-Solo, [F4] with [F1-F4] button lit-Mute.
• M-Audio Axiom 49 or Axiom 61: Fader Buttons [F1-F8]. Press F9/F18 to switch the
Fader Buttons between Show/Hide, Mute and Solo.
• M-Audio Axiom 25: [Solo], [Mute].
