Playback stops immediately when you let go of the key. Playback continues with another

pitch when you press other keys, and you can, of course, select other phrases or fills during

playback.

It is useful to get acquainted with the different lengths of the available fills before you

actually use them. This helps you in finding a rhythmically appropriate triggering point.

Move to Key Signature

You can let the Phrase Player automatically adjust the phrases and fills you play to the key

signature of the Session.

Select a global scale in the Key Signature local menus on the Control Bar. Find more

information in Key Signature.

To enable, set Move to Key Signature to On.

The Phrase Player will now create diatonically correct major or minor phrases according to

the selected key signature.

Root Display

This display shows the root key of the currently played phrase.

Feel Knob

Using this rotary control, you determine the degree to which the velocity values

of individual keys within a phrase or fill are randomized to create a more

natural, human playing style. The velocity differences within the phrase

increase the more you turn this knob up.
