Instrument Bar

The Instrument Bar is located at the top of the Arranger. It contains all instruments in the

currently open Session.

An instrument and all clips that you have recorded with it are connected:

• If you click a clip, the corresponding instrument will be selected in the Instrument Bar.

• If you click an instrument on the Instrument Bar, all clips that have been created with

it, are selected.

• Instrument families, selected patches, instrument icons in the Instrument Bar, and the

clips in the Arranger are the same color.

The Instrument that is selected in the Instrument Bar is the instrument that is currently

active for playing and recording. It is also the instrument that will be changed when making

adjustments in Ignite's top panel.

When a Clip is selected in the Arranger, the Instrument to which it belongs is also

automatically selected.

Scrolling Instruments

If you have many instruments in a Session, and they are not visible in the Instrument Bar,

use the left or right arrows to display instruments that are off screen.
